Showcase

Rehearsal for ALL Showcase and Ensemble dances is Friday, February 17th 5:00-7:00pm. (Ensemble dancers ONLY stay until 7:30pm) Rehearsal is at Lakewood Dance Academy!

Ms. Alison's Wednesday 6:30pm Ballet & Contemporary class and Mr. Robert's Int. Tap class have a make-up class (from the snow day) Friday, February 17th 4:00-5:00pm. Students in these classes have a make-up class and rehearsal and stay from 4:00-7:00pm.

Showcase is Saturday, February 25th 6:00-7:30pm. Tickets are available at the front desk beginning next week, or at the box office the day of the show; $15 for General Admission.

Arrival Times: Ensemble Students 9:45am (only students in the Ensemble Company)

                          Jazz 5, Jazz 4, Int. Tap, Modern 3/4 1:30pm 

                         Musical Theatre, Ballet & Contemporary, Jazz 3, Jazz 2, Modern 2 2:30pm

Students are rehearsing in class so please attend all your classes unless you are sick (stay home and get better:). We'll begin costuming this week and send costumes home with students one or two weeks before the show. All costumes are rentals, and the rental fee is $25 per costume, charged to your account on February 1st. No charge for Ensemble costumes as they are pre-paid. 

If your students cannot participate in the performance, please email info@lakewooddance.com and let your teacher know as well. It's going to be a wonderful show and I hope everyone can attend! Friends, families and community members are welcome to attend!

Tech & Performance Schedule Saturday, Feb. 25th  

9:45-10:00 Ensemble dancers arrive 

10:00-12:30 Tech for Ensemble dances, approx. 20 minutes per dance 

12:30-1:30 BREAK 1:30-2:30 Tech Int. Tap, Modern 3/4, Jazz 4, Jazz 5. 15-20 minutes per dance 2:30-3:30 Tech Ballet & Cont., Musical Theatre, Jazz 2/3. 15-20 minutes per dance 

3:30-4:00 BREAK 

4:00-5:15 Tech for guest dancers including spacing & run through of Shim Sham with RMR 

5:15-5:45 (curtain closed, warm-up w/o music for all dancers onstage) 

5:30 House opens for General Admission seating 

6:00-7:30 Performance w/ 15 minute intermission 

7:30-8:00 Load Out
