Walkthrough rehearsal Sunday, May 23rd from 11:00-1:00pm at Lakewood Heritage
5:00pm Show Dancers rehearse 11:00-12:00pm
7:00pm Show Dancers rehearse 12:00-1:00pm.
Prior to “Show Day”
Tickets will go on sale Monday, May 3rd at 9:00am through a link on our website. Tickets are $15/Adult, $12/Senior (65+) and $10/Students. Performers do not need a ticket.
The 7:00pm show will start right on time. We need to be packed up and out by 8:30pm. We will hold the 5:00pm show a few minutes for late comers (but please try to be there at 5:00). We understand it is a difficult time on a weekday and traffic is unpredictable.
The rehearsal on Sunday, May 23rd is a walkthrough. This means the dancers practice their entrances and exits and bows and acclimate to the space. They do not need to be dressed down or bring any costumes or dance shoes.
Costume rentals are $15-$20 per student, per class, added to May tuition payments. Costumes will be sent home with students the week before the shows.
We need a few more volunteers to sit with classes of younger students during the show. Parents sitting with those students do not need a ticket for that show. We also need a couple more people to help load out. If anyone has a truck to take things back to the studio that evening, that would be incredibly helpful. Please email me if you can help, thank you!
Dancers performing in both shows arrive at 4:00pm. (They should bring a water bottle and a snack. Dancers changing costumes will be in a large outdoor tent. They need to have a nude leotard under their costumes. We have all sizes and several colors available.)
Dancers performing in one show arrive 15-30 minutes prior to show time and sit with their class in pre-designated areas. They will watch the other dances until it is their turn to perform and then return to sit with their classmates until the end of the show.
Patrons may be seated up to 30 minutes prior to show start time. Please do not arrive earlier than 30 minutes prior to show time.
The seating area is a sloped grass lawn. If you plan to be closer to the stage, please bring a blanket or low set chairs. If you are bringing regular size lawn chairs, please plan to sit further back or at the top of the ridge. Blankets are a great option.
There are no indoor restrooms on the premises, but there are portable bathrooms available.
