Information for Students and families

Academy Year 2021/22

Dear Parents,

Our staff is committed to creating meaningful and engaging experiences for our students and we care deeply about your health and safety in class and while visiting the studio. We are so excited to be teaching, creating, and hosting performances again this year!

CLASS SIZES / VISITORS

  • All classes are in-person with an option to Zoom in remotely, and class sizes are limited to 9-12 students per class.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • The lobby is open and you may choose to wear a mask or not in the studio. Please do not bring your child to dance if he/she/they are sick or symptomatic. Our staff is fully vaccinated and we will continue to use social distancing, hand cleaning, air purification and steam mopping to mitigate the spread of any airborne or surface viruses and bacteria.

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS

  • Students should be timely to class, prepared mentally and physically to participate, and wearing appropriate dress for class. Students are expected to participate fully in class unless they are ill or injured. Students should raise a hand to be called on and give their teacher full attention and speak respectfully in class, encouraging peers and leading by example. Food, gum, jewelry, and cell phones are not allowed in the dance studio. Students should not be in a dance studio without instructor permission.

Tuition

Tuition is due by the 10th of the month for classes and camps in the coming month. Accounts with a card on file are processed on the 5th of each month. Summer camps are one time payments. Tuition for weekly classes is due monthly.

Missed Classes

If your child is absent he/she/they are welcome to take a make-up class with any class in the same age range. Additionally, we have pre-recorded classes for students to take as a make-up. We do not pro-rate for missed classes or closures due to inclement weather.
